The Sudan Founding Alliance (Tasis) is a broad coalition of Sudanese political factions, armed movements, and civil society organizations. It was formed in February 2025 with the aim of establishing a legitimate “Government of Peace and Unity” to administer territories under its control and to build a new, inclusive, and democratic Sudan.
The primary goals include ending the ongoing conflict and putting an end to the entire history of wars in Sudan by addressing their root causes. The Alliance also seeks to establish a secular, democratic, and decentralized state, ensure freedom, equality, and justice for all citizens, and form a unified, professional national army under civilian oversight.
Individuals can support the Sudan Founding Alliance by staying informed about its vision and efforts, engaging in constructive dialogue, advocating for the principles of peace and unity, and sharing information about the transitional framework. For specific engagement opportunities, please refer to our contact section or official announcements.
The Transitional Constitutional Framework was formally adopted by the Sudan Founding Alliance on March 4, 2025, in Nairobi, Kenya. It serves as the guiding document for the establishment and operation of the Government of Peace and Unity, outlining the new administrative structure and foundational principles for Sudan.
